Interlated is proud of its standards based approach to web publishing. This approach leads to the the site being generally available on a wide range of browsing platforms.
Standards Compliance Testing
Interlated will review the completed site for standards compliance. The training will include a component where we train content authors in standards compliance as what they put into the system may have an impact on compliance.
Accessibility
A brief review of site accessibility will be undertaken with technical implementation items (e.g. improper use of image alt tags) resolved.
No use of in-practice accessibility testing is resourced.
Performance
Load testing and performance tuning are to be undertaken. Optimisation utilities (javascript and css aggregation/compression for example) are to be enabled.
The best practice web page load time is 3s and we will discuss any pages that don't meet this benchmark.
Proprietary Technology
The use of proprietary, non W3C technologies is limited to those areas where its use is deemed to provide an experience or service that cannot be provided otherwise.
